That was nice. I finished very late (at 9:00PM) finding that it's raining. It wasn't good nor bad day, just normal. I can't drive home like this, so I go in the mall thinking of something to do until it stop raining. "Why don't spend the night in Cinema?", I thought and wished to find an interesting film out this Cairo Film Fest not like yesterday schedule.

Well, I checked the cinema schedule and found a Spanish movie called "Sin Ti (Without You)" and a Netherlands movie "Guernsey". Choose the Spanish, seems romantic.

I've just received an email from a friend in France that protest on a "Corpus Christi" movie which show Jesus and his disciples as gays. When I read an email, I knew it's a hoax (What is hoax?). I wanted to make sure so I googled and found that this email is circulating around in the webspace since 2000, the same email with the exact text. As I expected, there's no movie named "Corpus Christi"!!!

However, I don't set aside that a crazy man (or may be woman) in Hollywood might produce a movie with the same idea. This world goes more absurd everyday!!!

As I see most of Arab nation liked the Ridley Scott’s Kingdom of Heaven movie mainly because it shows Saladin as a good man who safe Jerusalim from the bad crusades. See this opinion clear on: (http://lost76.blogspot.com/2005/05/kingdom-of-heaven.html).

For me, I see this movie from another angle. I don't see it as historical documentary movie however it's a story about a man who lose his faith (the blacksmith Balian - Orlando Bloom) due to the wrong behavior of the church priest. He decide to kill him as a sign of a revolution of the wrong beleived and escape away in a journey to the place where everybody thought it's the heaven on earth. In his journey, he discovered a new beliefs and a new concepts. There are good and evildoers in every nation and in every believe.

A very bloody movie!! I could say it's a dirty horror/thriller movie. The psycho killer behind the crimes doesn’t directly commit murder. He leaves his victims in situations where they must follow orders or rules which instruct the victim to either kill or be killed. Failing to follow through o­n the order brings immediate death. The killer chooses his victims to teach them a lesson to respect their own lives that they mostly doing things that wasting it from their hands. The most bad part comes in the last 20 minutes and then the film ends up making absolutely no sense.

It's a true story about a blind man who used to live satisfied with his o­nly sister in a small town near New York. Amy appear in his live, being astonished with his character and his high sense of granted things that we consider it as natural. She express with him the sound of rain and the touch of fingers.

Amy, pushed by her love to Virgil, push him to make a surgery to return his sight. As the surgery success, we are facing a strange case of unhappy man who is going from a dark world to confussion world. He has no visual memory, he even can't recognize people feelings from their face impression. Virgil put us in every sence o­n front of a trivial question that's not trivial at all: 'What's this look?', 'What's red and what's white?', 'What's this and what's that?'
